Description:

Position Overview:
The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of all IT projects. They will monitor the progression of project plans, recommend improvements, coordinate with teams, enhance certification processes, and manage communication on behalf of various development project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Initiation:
Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

Task Coordination and Scheduling:
Coordinate project activities and tasks, ensuring they are assigned and scheduled appropriately.
Monitor task completion and provide status updates to project stakeholders.

Communication and Documentation:

Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Maintain project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and action items.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:
Track project progress and provide regular status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Identify and report any deviations from the project plan, suggesting corrective actions.

Resource Management:
Assist in resource allocation and ensure resources are available for project tasks.
Coordinate with various teams to obtain required resources and resolve conflicts if they arise.

Risk and Issue Management:
Identify and assess project risks and issues, and escalate them to the project manager.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Quality Control:
Support the implementation of quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
Conduct regular reviews to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with project stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
Provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and manage stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a project coordinator or in a similar role.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
